Andrew da Roza is a qualified addictions psycho-therapist working with Promises Healthcare Pte. Ltd., a leading private mental health services provider in Singapore. He has a Masters degree in counseling from Monash University in Australia and he is also certified in Singapore as a: substance abuse therapist; solution focused therapist; and quit smoking consultant. He is currently enrolled with King’s College, London in a Masters degree in addictions studies.
Andrew is also an English and Hong Kong lawyer, with a BA in law from Kent University and a Masters in law from King’s College. London. He also has an EMBA, jointly from Kellogg, Northwestern University and HKUST.
He worked in private practice for seven years with U.K. law firms Linklaters and Lovells, before he moved in-house with FedEx’s Asia Pacific Division for fourteen years, as the Vice President, Legal and Regulatory Affairs. He was the General Counsel of International SOS for three years before retiring from law to change careers and service the community in Singapore.
He is a member of the Executive Committee of the Community Chest and a member of the Eurasian Society of Singapore. As a member of these organisations and as a Board member of We Care, Andrew is dedicated to helping people in need through fund raising and participating in social service programmes.
SMART stands for Self-Management & Recovery Training. Participants learn tools for addiction recovery based on the latest scientific research and participate in a world-wide community which includes free, self-empowering, science-based mutual help groups.

Mindfulness For Recovery
Mindfulness for Recovery is an open group to learn and practice mindfulness. Mindful practice aims to help participants to break away from their own destructive habitual patterns. All facilitators have personal experience practising mindfulness.
This group is catered for people with a history of addictions, reactive behaviours and/or mood disorders

FREE stands for Families in Recovery through Education and Empowerment. FREE is a workshop for the family members of addicted ones.
