Dr. Lim is a psychiatrist with 34 years of experience in psychiatric practice. He is presently the Consultant Psychiatrist at Raffles Hospital. Prior to his current appointment at Raffles Hospital, Dr. Lim was Consultant Psychiatrist at Woodbridge Hospital, and Forensic psychiatrist at Changi Prison Hospital. He started the Alcohol Addiction programme in WH and was Head of its Alcohol Addiction Unit. He also served as Psychiatrist to Prisons and Drug Rehabilitation Centres, as well as a Visiting Consultant for the Community Addiction Programme of IMH.
Dr. Lim has served as President of the Singapore Psychiatric Association and Vice-Chairman of the Psychiatric Chapter of the Academy of Medicine. He is a Council Member of the National Council on Problem Gambling (NCPG).
On the academic front, Dr. Lim added greatly to the field of knowledge in alcohol addiction and drug abuse, having presented papers on these areas at medico-legal seminars. He is a Teaching fellow at the NUH Dept of Psychological Medicine. He was an International Fellow on Addiction at the University of Minnesota Addiction Program on a HMDP Fellowship as well as Hazelden Foundation, USA.

Mindfulness For Recovery
Mindfulness for Recovery is an open group to learn and practice mindfulness. Mindful practice aims to help participants to break away from their own destructive habitual patterns. All facilitators have personal experience practising mindfulness.
