WE CARE provides the following services and programmes:

Whilst we provide professional help to persons with addictions from trained counsellors, WE CARE empowers recovering persons to embark on their own recovery journey. We empower by providing a safe and non-judgemental place where recovering person can seek on-going support as they re-integrate back into society. 

Our Drop-In Centre provides a safe and supportive place for the recovering persons to bond with safe recovering friends. The centre also provides a wide range of holistic activities that help recovering persons to re-integrate better into family and work life.

Some of our weekly programme includes: 

Enrichment Programmes

Music jamming sessions is one of the many enrichment activities planned at our drop-in centre. The aim is to help recovering persons develop alternative ways to de-stress, relax and develop a healthy lifestyle. A band, called The Dreamers, meet up regularly to jam and practice at WE CARE. They also performed at public locations for WE CARE.

Lifeskills workshop

For recovering person who are ready to re-enter the workforce and re-integrate with society, we introduce basic life-skills training to help them improve employability, social and communication skills. We provide short, evening classes on how to handle job interview, basic financial management, basic computer as well as conversational English. 





Exercise & Relaxation

Recovering people can engage in physical activities at WE CARE's compound. There is a futsal court where they can play a game of soccer game. They also play badminton with a group of recovering folks every Monday and Friday late afternoon. We also organise meditation and yoga classes for them to relax their mind.  

Creative Therapy

WE CARE has a creative workshop equipped with art materials. Drop-in recovering folk can paint and explore various creative expression. Art-making helps to regulate their emotions. Every Wednesday, there is an art workshop where drop-in members can engage in art making. 

All activities at our Drop-In Centre are free of charge and is open WE CARE drop-in members only.

  Families in Recovery through Education and Empowerment  

FREE stands for Families in Recovery through Education and Empowerment. FREE is a workshop for the family members of addicted ones. 

Date: Every 2nd Monday of the Month except Public Holiday

  Mindfulness for Recovery  

Mindfulness for Recovery is an open group to learn and practice mindfulness. Mindful practice aims to help participants to break away from their own destructive habitual patterns. All facilitators have personal experience practicing mindfulness. 
This group is catered for people with a history of addictions, reactive behaviours and/or mood disorders.
