Recovery Guide

Ahmad joined WE CARE in Jan 2024 as a Recovery Guide, specifically as a peer support specialist. As a former beneficiary of WE CARE’s Project SAFE programme, Ahmad continues to be committed to the well-being and recovery of individuals struggling with addiction, providing support, orientation and guidance to new and existing members. In addition, he has responsibilities in Drop-In Centre operations, operational readiness as well as the overall safety and security of the Centre.

With an extensive 25-year tenure in the civil service, Ahmad brings a wealth of experience and dedication to the field of addiction recovery and support. His longstanding commitment to public service has equipped him with a profound understanding of community needs, safety protocols, and the importance of structured support systems.
