Noor Sida Abdullah is an addiction counsellor at WE CARE, with close to 10 years of counselling experience. She was a co-lead in the SAFE 1.1 (Support for Recovering Addicts and Families through Empowerment) programme, which treats persons with incarceration experience, and supports their families and significant others. This programme was piloted with Singapore Prison and NCSS and has been proven beneficial to former offenders and their loved ones.
Noor Sida holds a Graduate Diploma in Solution Focused Practice and a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology (Counselling) from the American University of Hawaii. She is a Certified Substance Abuse Counsellor registered with The Association of Professionals Specialising in Addiction Counselling (APSAC) and is also a Certified Self-Management Recovery Training (SMART) Facilitator. Additionally, Noor Sida is a member of the Association of Professionals Specialising in Addiction Counselling (APSAC).
Before her journey with WE CARE, Noor Sida was a Senior Counsellor in AMKFSC Pte Ltd as well as in Singapore Children’s Society where, besides providing emotional support and counselling, she managed social care for vulnerable individuals and families.
