Robert is a partner at IGlobe Partners. He was previously a partner at Accenture. He currently serves on the boards of several organizations, including the Agency for Integrated Care (AIC), Health Sciences Authority (HSA), LawNet Technology Solutions (LTS), Singapore Mediation Centre (SMC), Singapore University of Technology and Design (SUTD), and Synapxe. He also serves on the boards of non-profit organizations such as Kwong Wai Shiu Hospital, Shared Services for Charities, Singapore Hospice Council, and WeCare.

Robert is a Fellow of the Singapore Institute of Directors and the Singapore Computer Society (SCS). He was awarded SCS's Hall of Fame in 2016 and IT Leader of the Year in 2009. For his contributions to public service, he was conferred the Public Service Medal in 2013 and the Public Service Star in 2017.
